Office for Technology Transfer (OTT-USRE)
The Office for Technology Transfer’s main task is to support the processing, economic management and justification of all those agreements and contracts which emanate from the teaching and research levels belonging to UPM Centres and Departments.
Since its creation in 1988, the OTT has underwent a vertiginous growth. In its 18 years of history, the increase in the turnover has been seven times higher than that of the University Budget.
It is very remarkable the increase in Agreements of Technology Transfer to private companies and to Industry in general, which have tripled over the past five years, as well as the increase in the number of fellowship holders and contract staff, which has doubled in the same period.
